I happened upon a small wave of songbirds

migrating this morning. Among the Golden-crowned

there were a few Warblers and some Blue-headed Vireos.

I was with a group of friends one time and I told them to look for the white spectacles on the Blue-headed Vireo. Well, they thought I said white testicles, and after viewing the bird for a little bit, one of the gals asked me how I could see the testicles?

WHAAAA?

WHAAAAT?

They all chuckled while I exclaimed white SPECTACLES!

I don’t know, maybe I had mis-spoke, I had recently returned from a trip to Costa Rica and we had been talking about HOWLER MONKEYS and their attributes, if you know what I mean…
