Red-necked Grebes

No, we’re not talking about hillbillies – this is a diving duck-type bird that frequents the area. In fact, the DNR is studying the population of Red-necked Grebes as it is another species that is declining.

If you see any Red-necked Grebe nests you should report the sighting to Pam Perry at[Pam.Perry@dnr.state.mn.us].
