This moose was seen at the Pelican River behind the Dam Supper Club on Highway 53.
The moose appears to be shedding it’s winter coat and the new summer fur is underneath. I can’t tell if it is a male or female – the males shed their antlers in the winter and grow new ones every summer. Sometimes moose will stay in a local area for some time if the food source is good.
