Cypripedium acaule also known as Moccasin Flowers or Pink Lady’s Slippers are prolific this year. They’re also called stemless Lady Slipper. This wild orchid is a different species than the Minnesota state flower, the Showy Lady Slipper.
It seems everywhere I looked there were Moccasin Flowers on the BIG MOOSE TRAIL.
