Lake Minnetonka ice out – April 8th

I just heard that Lake Minnetonka’s ice went out Tuesday, April 3rd. That is only 285 miles south of here. We are looking at 30 inches of ice on Crane Lake.
This morning it was 0 (zero) degrees. I can’t believe this winter weather! My Yellow-rumped Warbler is still here and gobbling up mealworms. He doesn’t look happy.
