There was a pretty good size flock of 20 Evening Grosbeaks and about a dozen Purple Finches roaming the neighborhood this weekend.

Those Evening Grosbeaks are so beautiful! How long will they stick around at your place?
Last year they were here pretty much all summer. They raised chicks and brought those in to the feeders. It was awesome! I think the Evening Grosbeaks have been breeding at Crane Lake for quite a few years now.
