Nice video! I’m trying to get a picture of what hummingbird populations are like that far north. Are those numbers typical for spring migration? What are your numbers like during the summer once spring migration is over? Do you get even larger numbers during fall migration after the young have fledged and southbound migrants pass through? And when do your last hummers leave?

Yes, these are typical numbers for spring migration. Quite a few Hummers stick around and raise their families, during that time they don’t visit the feeders as often. After the young ones fledge, they mob the feeders again. The Ruby-throated Hummingbirds leave Crane Lake by Sept 15th.
