Butterflies were abundant this summer in the north woods. When birding gets slow in the dog days of summer, butterflies can make good photo subjects. Some people have taken a new interest in Dragonflies. I understand that in northern Minnesota there is a plethora of different Dragonfly species – some quite rare.
