I have posted another video on youtube.com. My Yellow-rumped Warbler is starting to get his breeding plumage. It’s very exciting!
While watching the feeders today, I noticed two Red-breasted Nuthatches feeding together on the peanut feeder. I thought how nice they are cooperating with each other and not trying to chase one another around, when all of a sudden, one Nuthatch took a bite at the other one and the one flew away. In the aftermath, a couple of blue-gray feathers were floating on the breeze. I guess they weren’t so cooperative after all.
