I took these photos on September 8th. The baby Swans are now 90 days old – they are still grounded as they wait for their flight feathers to go in.
There are two adults and 3 young gray Swans.
The young Swans have quite a few white feathers coming in, but their wings are still gray. I was hoping for a shot of a young Swan flapping its’ wings so I could see how developed they were, but I could only get this shot of the young Swan preening.
It looks like their white tail feathers are pretty well developed. It won’t be long and this whole family will be up and flying away to warmer climes.
